A freshly made lip tattoo is a stronger colour than it will be when healed. It can also cause swelling. Therefore, it is important that guests do not plan any activities for the day that may be hindered by their appearance. The swelling will normalise the next day and the more intense colour will be visible for about 3 days. The total healing process takes 5-6 weeks. Aftercare should be followed for 2 weeks.
